STEERS – (124) – Hitting the headlines, and Champion in the Show yard was the Firm of D.R. Hood, Middlehill with a superb BB Bullock scaling 512 kg and realising £1480. Top Price per kilo for Bullocks came from M/s D.S. Stark & Son, South Ballo for a cracking 438 kg Limousin to 294.5p. Overall Average 256.4p
HEIFERS – (141) – Leading the Heifer trade was the 1st Prize and Reserve Champion beast from Messrs R. Simpson & Son, Mains of Creuchies for a fabulous 488 kg Limousin to £1480/303p. Overall Average 269.4p
There was an excellent show of Cattle forward selling to a packed ringside of buyers, with trade strong from start to finish.
