Bullocks (3) – Sold to a top of 2.70p per kg for a 626 kg Limousin from the Gask and purchased by the Firm of W.E. Fairlie Ltd. and to £1699.12 for a 634 kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by the Firm of W.E. Fairlie Ltd. to average 2.68p.
Heifers (15) – Sold to a top of 2.88p per kg for a 558 kg Limousin from West Bog and purchased by Rennie Butchers, Forfar and to £1674.40 for a 598 kg Limousin from West Bog and purchased by James Ewart Ltd., Butchers, Monifieth to average 2.59p.

The Forfar Mart are delighted to support the Donate a Lamb campaign, introduced by the Institute of Auctioneers & Appraisers in Scotland and QMS Scotland. On the 30th November 15,000 school children will cook and serve Scotch Lamb to celebrate #LambforStAndrewsDay. From today’s sale M/s W. Mather & Son, Shandford kindly donated a lamb which raised £143 and also Duncan Beaton, Newmill of Inshewan which raised £130.
