Bullocks (11) Sold to a top of 247p per kg for a 565kg Limousin from Chapel of Barras and purchased by Scott Bros., Dundee and to £1498.60 for a 635 kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by the Firm of W.E. Fairlie Ltd., Letham to average 230p.
Heifers (19) Sold to a top of 262p per kg for a 546 kg Limousin from Gask and purchased by Rennie Butchers, Forfar and to £1449.18 for a 582 kg Limousin from West Bog and purchased by James Ewart Ltd., Forfar to average 239p.

NEW SEASON LAMB (881) sold to a top of 232p/kg for 43kg Beltex & £100 on three occasions for Beltex all from Scobshaugh. Lamb trade following the national trend in being easier on the week, best lambs carrying finish still achieving 200p/kg+. Leaner lambs definitely less money these ranging from 180-190p/kg, some would be easier placed in the store ring. Overall ave. & SQQ 190p/kg (-13p on the week, +18p on the year)
