Store Cattle sold to a top of £1220 for 595 kg Simmentals from Middleton of Dalrulzion and to 228p for 495kg Limousins from Baldastard to average 214p per kg.
PRIME CATTLE
Sold to a top of £1569.60 and 240p per kg for a 654 kg Limousin from West Bog and purchased by Fleming Butchers, Arbroath.
PRIME LAMBS
Prime Lambs (553) sold to a top of 250p per kg for a 34 kg Texel from Clochie and to £110 per head on two occasions, firstly for a pen of 47 kg Texels from Mains of Dalrulzion and secondly for a 53 kg Texel from New Barns. Best quality and handyweight lambs still easiest to sell, heavier lambs less money. Overall Ave. 205p . SQQ Ave. 209p.
