NEW SEASON LAMBS (933) sold to a top of 259p per kg for two 44 kg Beltex from Scobshaugh and to £118 for a 56 kg Texel from Greenhillock. Despite the predictions the sale average returned sharper on the week for a mixed show of lambs. The two tier trade being shown again today, properly finished lambs and best types selling to a strong trade, leaner under finished lambs harder to sell. Overall average and SQQ 204p (+4p on the week)
