Bullocks (14) Sold to a top of 231p per kg and £1422.96 for a 616 kg Limousin from the Gask and purchased by James Ewart Ltd., Monifieth to ave. 213p.

Heifers (18) Sold to a top of 2.56p (twice), one for a 566 kg Limousin from West Bog and purchased by Scott Bros., Dundee and second for a 537 kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by the Firm of J.B. Penman, Crail and to £1446.96 for the 566 Limousin from West Bog to ave. 225p.

PRIME SHEEP

NEW SEASON LAMB (5) sold to 254p per kg twice for 48 kg Lambs from Upper Tulloes and £122 per head on three occasions from the same home.  A heavy show of lambs but still achieving an average of 245p per kg.

PRIME  HOGGS (293)  Sold to a top  of 273p per kg for a 44 kg Beltex from Scobshaugh and £128 from Mains of Dalrulzion for a 49 kg Beltex to average 188p per kg. SQQ 212p per kg. Another extremely heavy show of hoggs forward for sale today hampering todays overall average.  With over half of todays entries weighing over 50 kg proving difficult to sell. However, handyweights in demand and often achieving more in the sale ring.
