Bullocks (11) – Sold to a top of 2.70p per kg and £1706.40 for a 632 kg Limousin from the Gask and purchased by the Firm of W.E. Fairlie Ltd., Letham to average 241.5p per kg.
Heifers – (30) – Sold to a top of 2.64p per kg for a 553 kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by Scott Bros., Dundee and to £1522.74 for a 619 kg Limousin from the Gask and purchased by James Ewart Ltd., Butchers, Forfar to average 240p per kg.

PRIME HOGGS (681) – Sold to a top of £140 per head on two occasions, firstly for a 45 kg Beltex and secondly for a 48 kg Beltex both from Balbrydie. This home also topped the pence per kilo at 311p per kg for a 45 kg Beltex. A poorer show for quality forward today. Many homes looked to be having a tidy out. Overall Ave 252p/kg SQQ 257p/kg
