PRIME CATTLE – We had a fantastic show of cattle on offer today.
BULLOCKS – (1) – Sold to a top of 2.86p per kg and £1979.12 for a 692 kg shapey Limousin from Barns of Airlie and purchased by Chapman Butchers, Wishaw.
HEIFERS – (15) – Sold to a top of 3.42p per kg for a 564 kg cracking Limousin from West Bog and purchased by Penman Butchers, Crail and to £2022.72 for a 688 kg superb Limousin from Pityot and purchased by Chapman Butchers, Wishaw to average 3.11p.
