Lawrie & Symington, Forfar held their sale of 18 Prime Cattle and 13 OTM’s also 1123 Prime Lambs, Hoggs, Ewes and Rams.
The Forfar Mart are delighted to support the Donate a Lamb campaign, introduced by the Institute of Auctioneers & Appraisers in Scotland and QMS Scotland. On the 30th November 15,000 school children will cook and serve Scotch Lamb to celebrate #LambforStAndrewsDay. From today’s sale M/s D. Smith, Scobshaugh kindly donated a lamb which raised £140 and purchased by M.J. Stark Ltd.

Heifers (15) – Sold to a top of 279p per kg for a 558 kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by Penman Butchers, Crail and to £1650.92 for a 596 kg Limousin from Chapel of Barras and purchased by Stark Butchers, Buckhaven to average 241p,
