Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their annual show and sale of 787 Rare and Minority Breeds. A packed ring of buyers ensured a fast trade throughout.
The days trading topped at £580 for a Vallais Black Nose in lamb ewe from Messrs A Scott, Spango Bank, closely followed at £500 for a Vallais Black Nose Ewe Lamb from the same home.
Included in todays event was the National show and sale on behalf of the Hebridean Sheep Society and the show and sale from the Scottish Society of Shetland Sheep.
The Hebridean section topped at 480 Gns for an aged ram from D Huddlestone, Skipwith, Rugby. Shetlands topped at £290 for an aged ram from Fiona Hipwell, Wester Cockairney
