Lawrie & Symington Ltd held their weekly sale of 4567 Store Lambs and Feeding Ewes along with all classes of Breeding Sheep and Rams. A large ringside of local and distant buyers saw trade strong in all classes with store lambs topping at £76 for Beltex from West Millrig with Blackface to £55 from Henderland. Feeding ewes topped at £136 for Texels from Fallows, Burnton, with Blakcface to £47.50 from Hazelside. Breeding sheep sold to £220 for pure Texel Gimmers from Fallows, Burnton, with 5yo Blackface ewes to £66 from Kirkton, Penicuik.
