Bullocks sold to a top of £1,220 for a Charolais x from Firm of J Pirie, Laigh Park (Blairnavaid), and to 212.2p/kg from the same home, to average 192.6p/kg. Heifers topped at £1,075 for a Charolais x from Messrs Steel, Whitesykes, or to 207.9p/kg for a British Blue x from Messrs Hamilton, High Crewburn, to level at 185.9p/kg. Dairy bullocks sold to a top of £900 for Fleckviehs from H Frame, Thinacre, to average 134.2p/kg.
