L&S sold 508 ewes with lambs, hoggs with lambs and dry hoggets at their fortnightly sale. Trade was topped at £85 per life for a pen of Texel hoggs with Beltex lambs at foot from W I Thomson, Bordlands Farm, or £125 for Scotch mule dry hoggs from L Steele, Liscleugh Farm.
