Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 628 Store Hoggs at the first sale of the year with trade being topped at £98 for Texel lambs from Messrs J Orr, Dykehead and Blackface sold to £75 from Messrs Wight, Midlock.
The stronger, better end of the hoggs remained a good trade but small longer keep lambs cheaper on the week.
