Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their weekly sale of 407 ewes & hoggs with lambs at foot. Another large ringside of buyers saw trade remain very dear with numbers short of buyer requirements, many more could have been sold to advantage. The sale topped at £81 for Chev Mule gimmers with single Beltex lambs from Frame, Cronan, and also for Mule hoggs with single Texel lambs from Borthwick, Mid Wellwood. Hill ewes to £58 for Cheviot x with twins from Kinnaird, Findattie.
