Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their opening sale of 292 ewes with lambs at foot which saw a mixed show for quality with the best end very easily sold and sought after with the plainer ewes with younger lambs harder to cash as we wait for some heat to get grass growing.
The sale topped at £126 per life for Texel gimmers and single from Messrs J Dunlop, An-Glasach who also sold Suffock gimmers + LAS to £120/life
Mules topped at £85 from Messrs Glasgow, Felton with Cheviots to £70 from Messrs Smith, Bankhead.
