Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 1141 head of ewes with lambs at foot where a busy ring of buyers ensured a very strong trade from start to finish.
The sale topped at £134/life for an excellent pen of 17 Texel Hoggs and singles from Messrs Mitchell, Newton of Wiston with ewes to £136 for Suffock Gimmers and singles from Messrs Adamson, Swaites.
Many more needed to satisfy demand.
