Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their weekly sale of 1702 store lambs of all classes where a full ring of buyers ensured trade again dearer on week. Many more could be sold to advantage.
Sale topped at £95 for Texels from Johnstone, Polmont with BF to £59 from Auchengruith.
The annual consignment of 355 lambs from Messrs Semple, Barmulloch, Campbeltown topped at £88 and average £75.25.
The 256 lambs consigned from Orkney and Shetland Isles topped at £83 for Suffolks from Laurenson, Uphouse.
