Sheep prime stock report
Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2440 Hoggs and 1609 Cast Ewes through Lanark. Another Good show of prime hoggs saw trade remain firm in all classes especially for good meat. Many more could now be sold to advantage each week. The sale topped at £116 per head for texels from Struthers, Collielaw and to 279p/kg for a beltex from Taylor, Southholm.
