A smaller show of 2389 hoggs were forward to the usual ring of buyers with the best end remaining dear, but the plainer end easier. More good meat could have been sold to advantage.
The sale topped at £168 per head for Texels from Messrs Struthers, Collielaw and to 365p/kg for Beltex from Downie Farming, Newton of Crathie.
