Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 1893 Hoggs and 1276 Cast Ewes through Lanark. A smaller show of hoggs saw all classes dearer on the week and short of buyer requirements. Best fleshed hoggs easily sold with top quality meeting extreme rates. The sale topped at £124 per head for Texels from Struthers, Collielaw and to 281p/kg for Texels from Struthers, Collielaw.
