Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3071 Lambs and 2565 Cast Sheep through Lanark.
Lambs
Another good show of lambs saw all classes meet extreme rates as the export demands keeps strong for now. Many more lambs could be sold to advantage.
The sale topped at £133 per head for Texels from Mr D Whyte, Whitelee Gate and to 300p/kg for Beltexs from Messrs Shaw, West Lethans.
