The largest show of new season lamb so far saw a great show forward and trade on the up again after the large dip last week. More could now be sold each week to fill demand. Weight coming to top money.
The sale topped at £145 per head for Suffolk from Messrs Smellie, Posso and to 297p/kg for Beltex from Messrs Gilchrist, Ingraston.
