Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 1795 Hoggs and 379 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
A tremendous show for quality of 1795 prime hoggs saw trade dearer in all classes with the quality end very dear. Many more could have been sold to advantage.
The sale topped at £129 per head for Texels from Clark, Wellhead and to 305p/kg for Beltex from Frame, High Dyke.
