Heifers sold to 256p per kilo (twice) from Messrs Dickinson, Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to S Collins, Muirend & H Black, Lanark or to £1638 from the same home.
Bullocks sold to 246p per kilo from Messrs Pettigrew, Faskine Farm, Airdrie to Chapman, Wishaw.

Sheep prime stock report
Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold a record number of 8034 sheep comprising 5270 Lambs and 2764 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Lambs
The biggest show of lambs seen in the new centre with 5270 head forward saw trade remain fast for the best quality and lighter weights, although lambs over 46kg proved harder to sell.
The sale topped at £120 per head for Texels from Cullen, Craighead and to 285p/kg for Beltex from Padkin, Drumcork.
