On Monday 13th November 2023 Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold Lambs and Cast Ewes and Rams through Lanark.
Messrs AF & R Cruickshank, Little Kype Farm, Strathaven and Messrs W Steel & Co, Cumberhead Farm, Lesmahagow have kindly donated Lambs for the Lamb for St Andrews Day Campaign. Over 56,000 pupils have celebrated St Andrew’s Day by cooking and eating Scotch Lamb.

A Larger show of 4880 Prime Lambs were an excellent show for quality with vendors capitalizing on the dear trade. All classes sharper on week and many more could be sold.
The sale topped at £167 per head for Texels from Ferguson Brothers, Gillandersland Farm, Linlithgow and to 342p/kg for Beltex from Messrs W Steel & Co, Cumberhead Farm, Lesmahagow.
