L&S held their weekly Friday sale of 2739 sheep, comprising of 939 Cast Ewes & Rams, alongside 1803 Store Lambs of all classes.
Another strong show of ewes saw all classes firmer on the week especially for the strongest end.
The sale topped at £129 for Beltex ewes from Westfield, followed at £124 for Texels from Midlock. Hill ewes sold to £58 for Blackface from Calla, and £60 for North Country Cheviots from the same home.

Another fine show of 1803 Store Lambs saw trade dearer in all classes with quality saught after. The sale topped at £73 for Texels from Kirkton of Crawford and Hardington Mains. The 1180 Blackface Lambs on offer were an outstanding show and the top draw lambs easily upheld recent high rates. Smaller lambs slightly harder to cash. Selling to a top of £63 from Kirkland Farming, Kirkconnell.
