On Friday L&S held their weekly sale of 1283 Cast & Feeding Ewes and 1815 Store Lambs. Ewe trade was firmer than seen in most centres this week with biggest, best quality ewes keenly sought after. A large show of Blackface ewes also sold well with many going for further feeding. The sale topped at £139 for Texel ewes from Highside.

At the second Show & Sale, we sold 1105 Blackface Wedder Lambs & 710 lambs of other breeds. All classes were sharper on the week with plenty men looking for good forward lambs. Blackface Wedder Lambs averaged £39.60.
