A small show of 1000 Breeding Sheep and 100 Rams were forward at our early October sale. Trade was varied throughout with purchasers being very selective. Trade topped at £128 for Texel Gimmers from Messrs Masterton, Burnetland Farm., and Blackface ewes topped at £88 for 2-crops from Brownrigg.

SM - £90 Burnetland.

HB - £80 Hangingshaw.

 

100 Rams forward met a buoyant trade and sold to a top of £600 for a powerful Texel Shearling from J W Gibb, Toftcombs Farm, and £250 (twice) for a Texel Lamb from T Smith, The Yett.
