L&S sold 1455 Cast and Feeding Ewes, 1483 Store Lambs and 188 Breeding Sheep. The best end of all sections sold at recent high rates with quality highly sought after, plainer end harder to cash.

Store Lambs sold to a top of £79 for a Texel Tup Lamb from Mr W Stewart,Turlood House. Following closely behind was a pen of 3 Cheviot lambs at £74 from Messrs Laird, Yeldabrek, Orkney. Good types in demand and many more could be sold to advantage.

Cast and Feeding Ewes were again in demand with quality ewes selling at recent high rates. The sale peaked at £114 for Texels from Dyke Farms.
