BELTEX SCOTLAND IN-LAMB SHOW & SALE
SATURDAY 11TH DECEMBER
A small but select show of Beltex In-Lamb gimmers were forward on Saturday morning but were keenly bid for with a near total clearance.
The pre-sale show was ably judged by Mr A Miller, Lurg flock who awarded his champion to Lot 180, a sub entry, from Messrs Hamilton, Shawtonhill flock. Shawtonhill Faiza, a daughter of Tiree Donegal, she sold for 3,800gns carrying a pair to Heatheryhall Firecracker and was purchased by the judge, backing up his choice.
Reserve came from Lot 177 from the Mid Shawtonhill flock – Mid Shawtonhill Fanny. This Ryder Dewalt daughter sold carrying one to Clary Fly - Boy and was again purchased by the judge Mr Miller, Lurg flock. She sold for 2,000gns.
Next at 1,700gns was the first from Messrs Baillie, Callacrag flock. A Glenpark Ebay daughter she sold carrying a single to Vogue Empire. The last bid came from Messrs Goodfellow, Townfoot.
Then at 1,400gns Lot 181 from Shawtonhill made its way to Orkney with the final bid coming from Messrs Dennison, Odiness. A Shawtonhill Deacon Blue daughter she sold carrying a pair to Clary Fly - Boy.
