The weekly sale of 4005 Store Lambs (inc. 1974 BF) saw trade again strong. Best quality Texel and Suffolk Lambs easily sold as well as a flying trade for top draw Cheviots. Blackface Lambs saw the best end dear with others similar.

Trade topped at £109 for Beltex from Messrs Clark, Lee Meadow, Carluke and for Suffolks Messrs Cockburn, Fountainside Farm, Gorebridge.

North Country Cheviots topped at £99 from Messrs Duncan, Nether Phanhope with South Country Cheviots to £88 Messrs Bernard & Dodds, West Doloraine Farm.

Blackfaces topped at £88 from Meggathead
