Store bullocks topped at £1415 for a Charolais from Townhead, Dolphinton or to 242.9p/kg for a Limousin from Powflatts to average 212.4p/kg.
Heifers peaked at £1235 for a Limousin from Bottoms, or to 245.2p/kg for a Charolais from Mackiesmill to level at 206.5p/kg.
Dairy bullocks topped at £940 twice from Bottoms & Cragthornhill to average 164.6p/kg.
Suckled calves met a strong trade to a busy ring of buyers.
Bullocks topped at £930 for a Simmental from Greenlands or to 254.3p/kg for a Charolais x from Yondercroft to average 226.5p.
Heifers reached £850 for two Charolais x from Lawriesmuir or to 244.5p/kg for Simmentals from Greenlands to level at 222.3p/kg.
