Lawrie and Symington sold 965 Store Cattle which met a strong trade at the fortnightly sale.

Bullocks topped at £1510 for a 612kg British Blue from Crookboat, or to 307.1p/kg for a pair of 280kg Limousins from Drumalbin to average 245.66p/kg.

Heifers peaked at £2500 for a 416kg Limousin from Holehouse, or to 601p/kg for the same beast, to level at 237.46p/kg.

Dairy bullocks reached a top of £1220 for a pen of five 540kg Montbeliardes from Cobblehaugh, to average 203.45p/kg.
