Lawrie and Symington held their Opening Sale of Autumn Born Suckled Calves with 1280 forward.

Bullocks topped at £1485 for a Limousin from Chapelhill, (part of the Peebles YFC consignment) or to 262p/kg on two occasions, firstly for 3 Aberdeen Angus from Crofthills, and then for a pen of 5 Charolais from Cloverhill, to level at 221.7p/kg.

Heifers peaked at £1350 for a Limousin from Buteland, or to 270p/kg for a pen of 2 Limousins from Sunnyside, to average 217.5p/kg.
