Limousin heifers sold to 370p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to Cairns Butchers, Lanark or to £2271 from the same home to Black Butchers, Lanark.
Beef cows sold to £2110 per head from Hill of Kilncadzow Farm, Carluke or to 242p/pk from West Glespin Farm, Douglas.
Dairy cows sold to £1350 per head from Grangehall Farm, Lanark or to 193p/pk from Muirhouse Farm Libberton.

New Season Lambs
More new season lambs forward and as more firms switch over, trade was firmer. More are now required each week to fulfil demand.
The sale topped at £250 per head for a Texel from Preacher, Holylee Farm, Walkerburn and to 464p/kg for a Texel from Woodmass, Harene Farm, Carlisle.

Another large show of 2073 prime hoggs saw trade sharper than at the end of the week. Well fleshed and heavy hoggs a lot dearer with the others meeting realisation.
The sale topped at £230 per head for a Texel from Prior Rigg Farming and to 411p/kg for a Beltex from Taylor, Heatheryhall Farm, Lanark.
