On Monday the 16th September Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 200 cattle comprising of 50 bullock and heifers, 65 cast cows and 85 calves and stirks.
Limousin heifers sold to 348p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm to Bark, Skirling or to £2306 from Brockwoodlees Farm to Bark, Skirling.
Limousin bullocks sold to 298p/pk from West Dykes Farm to Bark, Skirling or to £1717 from Greentowers Farm to Gibb, Biggar.
Beef cows sold to £1910 per head from The Law Farm or to 260p/pk from Nether Abington Farm.
Dairy cows sold to £1550 per head from Over Kypeside Farm or to 195p/pk from the same home.

Reaching top spot was an 8 month old Aberdeen Angus bullock from Kilkivan Farm, making £690.
On milk calves topped at £430 for a July born British Blue bull calf from Swaites Farm.
Off milk calves topped at £490 for a tremendous British Friesian bull calf from Nether Skellyhill Farm.

On Monday 16th September Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3469 Lambs and 1765 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Lambs
The 3469 lambs were a mixed show for quality with trade in line with the end of the week. Still a big difference in sheep with good flesh. Weight still pays.
The sale topped at £167 per head for a Texel from Hill Farm and to 352p/pk for a Beltex from Calton Farm.
