Overall top price realised was 1,400gns for Carstairs Jersey, a gimmer from Andrew Baillie, Callacrag flock. Sired by Callacrag Hot Shot, she is out of Callacrag Jagerbomb. Said to be carrying Twins by the 16,000gns Faughhill Kaiser, she sold on the phone to William & John Brown, Hilton of Culsh, New Deer.

Also heading to Messrs Brown is Callacrag Jolly, another gimmer from Andrew Baillie who realised the next top price at 1,100gns. Sired by Wannop’s Firecracker and out of Callacrag Caprice, she sells carrying triplets again to Faughhill Kaiser.

And making it a top three price hattrick was Callacrag Josephine at 1,000gns. Another sired by Wannop’s Firecracker, she was out of Callacrag Fresa. Said to be carrying a single by Faughhill Kaiser to Neil McDonald, Bowmore, Islay.

The Champion, Kingledores Jyla from Messrs R E Wood & Son selling for 900gns to Murray Wood for his Murray's flock at Broadwater. Sired by Curwen Hill George, she is out of Kingledores Echo Falls due a single.

Topping the Ewe Lamb section was Faughhill Kapow from Grant & Katie Maxwell, Faughhill flock selling to 800gns. By the 18,000gns Ainstable Javelin and out of Heatheryhall Glitter, who herself was the Lanark In-Lamb Champion in 2022. She sold to Messrs Sheddan, Newfield Mains, Dundonald.

Finally topping the Aged Ewe trade at 380gns for Beachy Graceland from the Barclay family at Mid Brockloch. By Glenpark Dynamite, she is out of Beachy Etta. Said to be scanned a single by Faughhill Joc, she sold to Messrs Craig, Rankinston, Ayr.
