Limousin heifers sold to £3196 from Skirling Craig, Biggar to H Black Butchers Lanark.

Limousin bullocks to £2859 from Brownsbank Farm, Biggar to Chapman Butchers Wishaw or to 422p/pk from Brownsbank Farm, Biggar to Chapman Butchers Wishaw.

Beef cows sold to £2670 per head from Buteland Farm, Balerno or to 361p/pk from Cloverhill Farm, Biggar.

Dairy cows sold to £2040 per head from Rigghead Farm, Strathaven or to 302p/pk from Auchmeddan Farm, Lesmahagow.

66 calves and stirks were sold at our fortnightly sale. £1090 was achived for a Limousin X bullock from Messrs HP Frame & Sons, Turdees Farm.

On milk calves reached a top of £710 twice for an Aberdeen Angus X bull calf from Messrs T Taylor, Heatheryhall Farm and a British Blue X heifer calf from Messrs TC Stewart, Marshill Farm.

Off milk calves reached a high of £980 for a British Blue X bull calf from Messrs J Pirie & Sons, Machrihanish Farm.

On Monday the 12th May Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2963 Hoggs and 1042 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Hoggs

A larger show of 2963 prime hoggs were forward with trade being firmer on the week. Especially for heavier ones. Best quality export hoggs in demand and short of requirements.

The sale topped at £188 per head for Texels from Clark, Blackhill and to 395p/kg for Beltex from Taylor, Heatheryhall.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
