On Saturday the 28.12.19 Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 1974 Lambs and 1156 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Sheep prime stock report
A good show of 1974 lambs again met a flying trade proving the Saturday Sales to be a festive success. All classes easily maintained recent high rates and were short of buyer requirements, especially heavier weight lambs.
The sale topped at £118 per head for Texels from Taylor, Skirling Craigs and to 261p/kg for a Beltex from Baillie, Broomfield.
