Limousin Heifers sold to 340p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to J Cairns, Butchers, Law or to £2118 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to H Black, Butchers, Lanark.

Limousin Bullocks sold to 312p/kg from Fauldingcleugh Farm, Lockerbie to W Stark, Twechar or to £1876 from Stonebyres Mains, Lanark to Bowland Food, Preston.

Beef Cows sold to £1890 per head from Nether Abington Farm, Biggar or to 247p/kg from the same home.

Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2,660 Lambs and 2,365 Cast Ewes and Hoggs through Lanark.

Lambs

A larger show of 2,660 prime lambs saw trade a lot dearer on week with all classes in great demand. Many more could have been sold.

The sale topped at £210 per head for Texels from Oscar King, Craighead (Carluke) and to 381p/kg for Texels from the same home.

A much bigger show of 2,365 cast ewes and rams were forward with all classes again dearer on the week. Fit Cheviot and Blackface ewes, as well as best Texels remain easiest sold.

The sale topped at £258 per head for Texels from Messrs Minto, Townhead (Dolphinton) and to £86 for Blackfaces from Mr D Morrison, Dalwyne.

Overall average £83.97.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
