Limousin heifers sold to 345p/pk from Dickinson, Brockwoodlees Farm to Black Butchers, Lanark or to £2166 from Dickinson, Brockwoodlees Farm to Black Butchers, Lanark.

Beef cows sold to £2110 per head from Taylor, Skirling Craigs Farm, or to 236p/pk from the same home.

Calves and Stirks

A strong sale of 59 claves forward for the last sale of June 2024. An Aberdeen Angus Heifer from Greyside Farm claimed the top price of £560.

On milk calves reached a top of £310 on three occasions. Two British Blues from Montgomery, Drumglass Farm and Stewart, Marshill Farm and a Hereford heifer from Brown, Muirhouse Farm.

An exceptional run of off milk calves reached a high of £520 for Aberdeen Angus and British Blue bull calves both from Bryson, Dykehead Farm.

On Monday 24^th June, Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 325 Lambs, 175 Hoggs and 933 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

New Season Lambs

A few more new season lambs forward but numbers are slow in coming as lambs lacking flesh are in need of some warm grazing weather. Weight still paying but short of requirements.

The sale topped at £216 per head for a Texel from Smith, Westpark Farm and to 440p/kg for a Texel from the same home.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
