Lawrie and Symington sold 529 Store Cattle at their opening sale of 2025 with a busy ringside of buyers present.

Bullocks sold to a top of £2060 for a 612kg Aberdeen Angus from Parklea or to 414.6p for a 318kg Limousin x from Burnbrae, Lesmahagow to average 347.6p/kg.

Heifers peaked at £1840 on two occasions for a 546kg Aberdeen Angus from South Carnduff and a 564kg Charolais from Haswellsykes, or to 375.7p for a pen of 7 Charolais at 354kg from Calton to level at 334.56p/kg.

Dairy bullocks sold to £1540 from Wester Highgate or to 301p for a pen of 4 British Friesians from Cronan to average 277p/kg.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
