Limousin bullocks sold to 442p/kg from Greentowers Farm, Lanark to MJ Stark, Paisley or to £2340 from Greentowers Farm, Lanark to MJ Stark, Paisley.

On Monday 14th April 2025 Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3189 Hoggs, 72 Store Hoggs and 733 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Hoggs
A larger show of 3189 prime hoggs were forward with a very mixed show resulting in a very mixed trade. The best export types still easiest to sell with heavier hoggs either side of £3 depending on quality. Also a large number of lean, grassy, store types amongst sale detracting from average.
The sale topped at £200 per head for Suffolks from Oag, Waterloo and to 389p/pk for Beltex from Lawrie, Grangehall.
