Limousin Heifers sold to £3150 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to H Black Butchers, Lanark or to 455p/kg (twice) from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie and Hill Farm, Strathaven to S Collins Butchers, Muirhead.

Limousin Bullocks sold to £2782 from Hill Farm, Strathaven to Chapman Butchers, Wishaw or to 430p/kg from Muirburn Farm, Biggar to MJ Stark Wholesaler, Paisley.

Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3538 Lambs and 1945 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

The 3538 Prime Lambs were again a large show of heavy weights with the export lambs receiving a premium. More required each week. Heavies still good pounds per head but large numbers out across country.

The sale topped at £191 per head for North Country Cheviots from Barr, Hallhill Farm and to 381p/kg for Beltex from Steel, Cumberhead Farm.

Overall Average 299p/kg (SQQ 302p/kg)

A special mention to McQuat, Brockhouse Farm, for their donation of a lamb for St Andrews Day.

Another large show of 1945 Cast Ewes and Rams were forward with trade sharper on the week again in all classes, with Scotland’s largest ring of Primestock Buyers all hear for sheep.

The sale topped at £355 per head for Texels from Carnbroe Estates and to £134 for Blackface from Kirkland Farming.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
