L&S held it’s fortnightly sale of Store Hoggs, Cast & Feeding Sheep and In-Lamb Ewes. 1819 sheep total met a strong trade in all categories. The 528 Cast Ewes sold to a top of £147 for Beltex from Andrew Baillie, Carstairs Mains, with Blackface Ewes to £64 from Messrs Campbell, Glenrath Farm. Cast Tups topped at £105 for a Charollais from I Laird, Yeldabrek.
