Lawrie and Symington held their opening show and sale of 2563 store lambs. A cracking show on offer for quality although a large reduction in size of lambs from last year owing to weather conditions. More long keep types on offer than forward lambs. A busy ring of buyers saw trade top at £150 for Beltex from Hamilton, Dillars.
