Lawrie and Symington sold 156 Cattle comprising 37 Bullocks & Heifers, 6 Young Bulls and 74 Cast Cows & Bulls and 39 Calves & Stirks.
Topping the sale today was a tremendous Limousin Bullock at 258p per kilo from Messrs Gray, Balquharrage Farm, Lennoxtown to W Stark, Twecher.
Heifers sold to 248p from Messrs Dickinson, Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to S Collins Butcher, Muirhead.

The largest show of the season of 2873 lambs saw trade remain similar on the week for the best end. Heavy lambs also sought after still 30p/kg above last year.
The sale topped at £126 per head for Texels from Struthers, Collielaw and to 280p/kg for Texels from same home.
