Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their weekly sale of ewes and hoggs with lambs at foot where 1668 lives were forward.

A packed ringside of local and distant buyers ensured a buoyant trade through out.

Included today was the Annual Show for Hoggs with lambs at foot ably judged by Mr R Struthers, Collielaw who awarded the Championship to a pen of 10 Texel hoggs with Beltex Lambs from Messrs Hamilton & Partners, Gilmeadowland which went on to realise £134 per head selling to the judge Mr R Struthers, Collielaw Farm.

Reserve went to a pen of 10 Scotch Mule hoggs from Messrs T Laird & Son, Carbello/Sunnyside Farm and realised £126 per head selling to High Parks Farm.

Outwith the show the sale topped at £152 per life for Suffolk gimmers and lambs from Messrs Laird, Carbello/Sunnyside.

Ewes to £117 for Texels and lambs from Messrs Hamilton, Dillars.

Hill ewes topped at £69 for Cheviot twins from Messrs T Bark, Gardrum and to £67 for Blackface singles from Messrs Boswell, East Burnhead.

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
