On Monday the 18th August Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 84 cattle comprising of 39 bullocks and heifers and 45 cast cows.

Limousin heifers sold £2967 from Brockwoodlees Farm to Black Butchers or to 455p/pk from the same Farm to Cairns Butchers.

Limousin bullocks sold to £2798 from Walkerdyke Farm to Cooper Butchers or to 398p/pk from Bagmoors Farm to Lawson, Whitburn.

Beef cows sold to £2490 per head from Collielaw Farm or to 410p/pk from Auchren Farm.

Dairy cows sold to £1940 per head from Moatmains Farm or to 269p/pk from the same Farm.

Young bulls sold to £2805 per head from Kepscaith Farm or to 360p/pk from East Cauldcoats Farm.

Cast bulls sold to £2000 per head from Calton Farm or to 194p/pk from the same Farm.

On Monday 18th August Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2622 Lambs and 1380 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

The 2622 prime lambs were a mixed show for quality with a big variance between well fleshed heavy sheep and smaller, lighter leaner sorts. Good sheep always easily sold and weight coming to good pounds per head.

The sale topped at £189 per head for Blue Texels from Laird, Yeldabrek and to 371p/kg for Beltex from Moffat, Bowridge Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
